We take your beautiful designs and convert them to standards‑compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who cares about standards‑compliant code? I just want my design coded.
A: Standards‑compliant code ensures that you (or your future developer) can continue building on or extending your website, without being confused by bogus or minified code.
Q: How does this even work, anyway? Can I give you a scribble on a napkin?
A: We accept designs in the following formats: Affinity Designer (.afdesign), InDesign (.indd), Photoshop (.psd), and Sketch (.sketch). You must provide webfont files if you have the license(s) to do so. Please don't send a photo of your napkin scribble in a design document.
Q: My nephew told me about React and I'm convinced my business needs it. Can you transform my design to a React app?
A: If your business requires a database, customer login, and CRUD capabilities, design2code is too simplistic for you. If the previous sentence sounds confusing or you don't need any of those things, design2code is perfect for you.
Q: Alright, how can I see for myself what you're capable of?
A: You're looking at it! If you're on desktop, you can view the source code of this site in your browser.
Q: Seems like you know a lot…who are you and what's your background like?
A: My name is Paul Webb and I have been coding for 15 years. In that time I've built websites for mom‑and‑pop shops, startups, and Fortune 100 companies. Your website design is in great hands.
Q: I'm ready to get my design coded. How do we get started?
A: You can upload your design and webfonts (if applicable) via our onboarding form. Once I confirm receipt of your assets and payment ($499), you'll receive a zip file of your coded website within two weeks.
Q: Do I have to pay extra to make my site look good on mobile?
A: Absolutely not. What you're talking about is called "responsive design" and I've been doing that before it was cool.
